Sarah Sabastro

Sarah Sabastro is a well-known entrepreneur, Information Technology professional, business coach, business credit guru, and finance expert. With over 10 years of business consulting experience, Sarah is recognized as an authority in business credit building, business credit scoring, and business financing.

In early 2010, Sarah decided it was time to walk away from the medical industry and decided to get into the business consulting industry.  She had been a license practical nurse in Baltimore City for well over 5 years.  Feeling like there was something missing, Sarah started helping small minority business and entrepreneurs.  With a natural passion for helping people, she started helping small businesses aspire to grow and learn about how they could obtain business funding.   Still there was something missing so in early 2020 she embarked on a mission to give back to Maryland and Washington DC disadvantaged communities.  Sarah leveraged her medical knowledge and decades of professional experience in the business to open up Mita Community Health LLC DBA CannaHeatlh Maryland, a subsidiary of CannaHealthTM, the first and only Maryland cannabis business owned by a Hispanic woman.

Sarah is a prominent industry advocate that belongs to the following networking organizations that empower women to become leaders and entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry, The Maryland Cannabis Industry Association (MDCIA), Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA), Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce member, and the American Alliance for Medical Cannabis member. She also uses her considerable platform and background in business and health to support disadvantaged communities by supporting the use of cannabis in conjunction with therapy for those suffering from complex traumas.  As Its innovative community-based business model offers disadvantaged communities disproportionately impacted by the war on drugs education about medicinal cannabis, as well as safe and legal access through medical marijuana program evaluations.
